Clyde Hart (pianist)

Cyde Hart (1910 - March 19, 1945) was an American jazz pianist and arranger.[1]

He was first active from 1929 when Hart performed with Gene Coy[2] and part of Jap Allen's band from 1929 to 1931.[2]

Hart played piano in Blanche Calloway's big band from 1931 to 1935 and was based in New York City from 1936.[1]

In the last few months before his death, Hart started making records under his own name. He died of tuberculosis in March 1945, at the age of 35.[1]
