Green Cross, is an extinct Chilean sports club based in the city of Santiago until 1965, when they moved to Temuco.

The club were founded on June 27, 1916, and their first chairman was Francisco Tapia. It was one of the 8 teams that founded the professional Chilean football league, in 1933.

The club had other sports branches besides football; these were basketball, cycling, and waterpolo.

The club won their first, and only Chilean league title in 1945.

In April 1961 a number of players were killed in a plane crash in the Chilean Andes.[1] The remains of the plane were found ten days after the accident. The wreckage was rediscovered in February 2015 by a climbing party.[2]

In 1965 moved to Temuco where they merged with the local football team Deportes Temuco, and since then, they were known as Green Cross Temuco, until 1985 when the club was folded.
