Club Loyalty Award

The original Club Loyalty award was given from 1986 till 1989 by the "Prapor Communizma" newspaper (Kiev), given to the player which played for his club more games than any other player in the Soviet Top League.

The award was renewed in 1995 by the Moscow Railway Worker newspaper, which had similar criteria's to the original award, but applied them only to players in the Russian Premier League, and was also given under official recognition from the Russian Football Union.[1] In 2004 the award ceremony took place at the Kremlin during the presentation of championship medals to FC Lokomotiv Moscow.[2] The award stopped to exist in 2004.[3]
