Clouds is the third full length album from Tiamat. This album was reissued in 1992 through Century Media Records.
Clouds was another major step in the quick sonic evolution of Tiamat, as the band continued to scale back further their death-doom metal roots, while pursuing more conventional song structures, closer to traditional gothic / progressive metal. Instrumentally, Clouds combine delicate acoustic guitars with crushing riffs and atmospheric keyboards. Johan Edlund's voice has a raspy growl, often performing esoteric lyrics.
