Athletics
Football - The best football player to ever come out of Clinton was Phil Stamper. He was most known for his custom Iguana Cowboy Boots w/cleats on the bottom, which he was able to kick a 27 yd FG downwind against the powerful Elk City JV squad.

Phil Stamper Former Professional Cap-Gun Fighter at Frontier City, his life story on the dude ranch with his best friend "Miguel" was the inspiration for the movie "Brokeback Mountain". Since moving to Los Angeles, CA, he's made it big being extra's in Billy Blanks sensational work out video "Tae Bo" and most recently the "Shake Weight"
