Clifford's Really Big Movie is a 2004 American animated film loosely based on the book series, Clifford the Big Red Dog by Norman Bridwell and more based on the classic PBS Kids TV series adapted from it. This film was directed by Robert C. Ramirez, produced by Scholastic Corporation's film division, Scholastic Films in association with Big Red Dog Productions, and originally released to theaters by Warner Bros. on February 20, 2004. This was John Ritter's last film as he had died on September 11, 2003, after completing voice work for the film as Clifford. The film was dedicated to his memory and also serves as the series finale to the show as no new episodes were produced to continue from where it had left off.

The film notably depicts characters with sclera, in contrast to the books and TV series, which portrayed every character except the giant Clifford with black bead eyes.

Plot

When Clifford finds out that the Howards are no longer able to afford to feed him, he decides to join an animal show called "The Amazing Larry's Animals", which is competing in a talent contest that offers a grand prize of a lifetime supply of Tummy Yummies. He is joined by dogs Cleo, T-Bone, and owner Emily Elizabeth on his adventure. There, they meet The Amazing Larry and his trained animals Dorothy the Cow, Shackleford Ferret, Dirk the Dachshund, and Rodrigo the Chihuahua. Soon, Clifford becomes the star of the show, but Shackleford starts to despise him due to stealing his spotlight. Meanwhile, G.C. Wolfsbottom, the CEO of Tummy Yummies Inc., and his spoiled daughter, Madison, have plans to steal Clifford for themselves. It is now up to Clifford and his friends to foil the plans of G.C. and Madison, escape their clutches and safely return to Birdwell Island.
