Cleon (Roman rebel)

Cleon was a Cilician and a slave of Sicily who became a general of Eunus during the First Servile War.[1] He was killed in 132 BC.

Cleon was a slave from Sicily, taken from Cilicia (modern-day Turkey).[2] He then met the slave Eunus, and became his general when Eunus began his rebellion.
