Clementino aka Iena White (born Clemente Maccaro on 21 December 1982) is an Italian rapper proficient in freestyle in both Italian and Neapolitan language. With the Italian rapper Fabri Fibra is member of the group Rapstar.[1]

Biography

1996-2006: The Beginning

Clementino in 2011

Clementino took his first steps in hip hop at 14 years old with the entrance into Tremble Crew of Naples and later in the TCK Group, always in Naples. Thanks to this experience, Clementino has the opportunity to refine his techniques in Freestyle, thus becoming one of the most skilled artists on the national scene by winning the 1st Place in the TecnichePerfette in 2004, the Da Bomb in 2005, the Valvarap in 2006 and 2theBeat in 2006, defeating Ensi, then the reigning champion, who in 2005 already defeated in the finals the same Clementino.

2006-2007: The first album

On 7 June 2006, he released his first solo album, called Napolimanicomio, sung in Italian and Neapolitan dialect, and in collaboration with renowned artists such as OneMic, Kiave, Fear, Spregiudicati, as well as several key members of Naples as Ganjafarm, Emceeozi, Mc Pact, achieving some success and increasing nationally reputation.

2010-2011: The second album and Videomind

Subsequently he collaborated with Dj Tayone and the rapper Paura, giving life to the group Videomind, with which he public the album Afterparty. On 19 December 2011, he released his second solo album, titled I.E.N.A.. Iena White is also one of the pseudonyms of Clementino.

2012: The work with Fabri Fibra

On 16 January 2012 Ci rimani male/Chimica Brother, double single in collaboration with the famous rapper Fabri Fibra that preceded the release of Non è gratis, the Clementino's project that sees the side of the same Fabri Fibra in the musical duo Rapstar.

2013: Mea Culpa

On 28 May 2013, Clementino released his first album with major (Universal Music Group), titled Mea Culpa. In it he talks about all the mistakes made in his life.
