Claire Guttenstein
Claire Guttenstein, née Frick then Guttenstein, then Gutt (b. March 26, 1888 d. 1948, Saint-Josse-ten-Noode). was Belgian swimmer from the early twentieth century, a participant in the Olympic Games and world record holder.
During the 1912 Olympic Games in Stockholm, twenty-four-year-old Guttenstein swam in one competition. At the 100 meters freestyle she finished in fifth place in the third qualifying race and was eliminated from further competition.
In the period from October 2, 1910 to 29 September 1911 Guttenstein was the world record holder at that distance, with a time of 1:26.6.
