City of Durham by-election, 1874
The City of Durham by-election of 1874 was fought on 11 June 1874. The byelection was fought due to the void Election of the incumbent Liberal MP, Thomas Charles Thompson. It was won by the Liberal candidate Farrer Herschell.[1]
