Cineme

Cineme was a short lived but highly successful, competitive and respected international animation and video game festival held in Chicago, Illinois. Cineme was founded by producer, screenwriter, director Brooke English.

Content

Cineme received over 2500 submissions each year from around the world. It attracted large audiences and endorsements from high-profile individuals, including Larry King. Cineme judges included prominent figures in the television and motion-picture industries from Cartoon Network, DreamWorks SKG, Nickelodeon, Sony Pictures Entertainment, and Universal Studios.

Achievements

Cineme became the first festival to have DVD distribution in its first year running: Hollywood Video distributed and sold Cineme 2003 and Cineme 2004 nationwide.

Cineme also became the first host of the Midwestern Game Development Conference, sponsored by High Voltage Software.
