Cinemalead is an Indian news, information and entertainment website. The website provides news related to Indian film industry, particularly news, film and soundtrack album reviews and box office reports related to Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam cinema.[1] Cinemalead is the online part of Chennai’s weekly neighbourhood newspapers, Vadapalani Times and Chennai Lead. The website has a marketing office, FTP Advertising LLC, based in Dubai.[1] 98.3 % of the website's visitors are from Tamil Nadu, India.[1] It's estimated worth is US$ 80, 616.[4]

The website was the online partner for the 7th Variety Film Awards held at the Kamaraj Arangam in Chennai.[5][6] The website's box office collection sources for Vishwaroopam (2013) was taken into account by the International Business Times.[7]
