Cincu (German: Großschenk; Hungarian: Nagysink) is a commune in Braşov County, Romania. It is composed of two villages, Cincu and Toarcla (Tarteln; Kisprázsmár). Each of these has a fortified church.

History

The village church was originally constructed in Romanesque style, but then remade in Gothic style in the 15th century.

The fortified church of Cincu is one of the largest fortified churches in Transylvania.
