Cill Dara RFC is an Irish rugby team based in Kildare, Leinster, playing in Division 1A of the Leinster League.
History
The Rev. Father E.D. O' Connor, O.Carm and former president Joe Flanagan were the driving forces behind the founding of the club back in 1976, and the club affiliated to the Leinster Branch of the IRFU the very next year.
The fledgling club was not particularly successful in their first season(s), but did manage to field two teams.
The current president of Cill Dara is Michael D. Higgins.
