Churi Laq'a (Aymara churi dull yellow, laq'a earth (soil),[2] "dull yellow earth", hispanicized spelling Churilaca) is a 5,260 metres (17,257 ft) high mountain in the Andes of southern Peru. It is situated in the Moquegua Region, Mariscal Nieto Province, Carumas District, and in the Tacna Region, Candarave Province, Candarave District. Churi Laq'a lies south-west of the mountain Ch'alluma.[3]
