Church of the Highlands is a non-denominational, Christian mega church in Birmingham, Alabama. It is a multi-site church with campuses in several Alabama cities. In addition to the primary church experience, Church of the Highlands offers church online as well as an extensive prison ministry hosted at many of the correctional facilities in the state of Alabama.
The church was founded on February 4, 2001 by Pastor Chris Hodges and a core group of 34 people. In 2008, Outreach Magazine named Church of the Highlands the fastest growing church in the United States.[1] It is the largest church in Alabama,[2] with approximately 32,500 members attending its twelve campuses on an average Sunday.[3]

Purpose
To reach people with the life-giving message of Jesus that they might become fully devoted followers of Christ.
Campus Locations
Church of the Highlands simulcasts the sermon portion of the service from the Grants Mill campus to its other campuses via video feed. Each campus has its own pastor, worship experience, and small group gatherings.
