The Church of Nuestra Señora de Montserrat (Spanish: Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de Montserrat) is a Baroque-style church located in Madrid, Spain. It was declared Bien de Interés Cultural in 1914.[1]
It was founded by King Philip IV of Spain to house the Castillian monks fleeing from the Catalan Revolt. The construction began in 1668 under the direction of Sebastián Herrera Barnuevo.
