Chuqipirwa (Quechua chuqi, metal, every kind of precious metal / gold (<Aymara), pirwa deposit,[2][3][4] "metal deposit", hispanicized spelling Choquepirhua) is a mountain in the Ch'ila mountain range in the Andes of Peru, about 5,400 metres (17,717 ft) high. It lies in the Arequipa Region, Castilla Province, on the border of the districts Chachas and Choco. Chuqipirwa is situated south of the mountain Ch'ila.[1]
