Charles E. "Chuck" Baer (September 24, 1905 May 31, 1987) was an American football coach in the United States.[1]

Coaching career

Baer was the head college football coach for the Detroit Titans located in Detroit, Michigan. He held that position for 6 seasons, from 1945 until 1950.[2] His coaching record at Detroit was 35 wins, 21 losses and 1 tie. As of the conclusion of the 1964 season, this ranks him #3 at Detroit in total wins and #5 at the school in winning percentage (.623).[3]

He is a member of the Indiana Football Hall of Fame.[4]
