Christopher Leaver

Sir Christopher Leaver, GBE, JP (1937-) was a wine merchant, and was Sheriff of the City of London in 1979 and Lord Mayor of London, 1981-1982.[1]

Leaver was born on 3 March 1937 and educated at Eastbourne College.[1]

He appeared as a "castaway" on the BBC Radio programme Desert Island Discs on 13 February 1982.[2]
