Christian Brüls (born 30 September 1988 in Malmedy, Province of Liège) is a Belgian footballer who currently plays for French Ligue 1 side Stade Rennais FC.
Career
Brüls is an attacking midfielder. Partly because of his strong performances for the young Red Devils, he attracted the interest of some Belgian top-clubs, including Club Brugge, Germinal Beerschot and Gent.[1] Nevertheless, he chose to play for Dutch Jupiler League club MVV Maastricht.
It was a hectic transfer-season for Brüls, as Trabzonspor had signed him first. After some negotiations between MVV and Trabzonspor, Brüls had permission to play for the Dutch side.
