Chris Warkentin (born November 20, 1978) is a businessman and Conservative politician in Alberta, Canada. He was elected to the House of Commons of Canada in the riding of Peace River in the 2006 federal election. An alumnus of the PRBI, he also studied business and marketing at Grande Prairie Regional College and owned and operated a custom home building company. He has served on the board of his local constituency association and has been involved with the Reform Party of Canada and the Canadian Alliance.

Political career

Chris Warkentin was first elected to the House of Commons in 2006. He was re-elected in 2008 and 2011. Warkentin served as the chair of the Standing Committee on Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development.[1] He was appointed Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Public Works and Government Services in February 2015.[2]
