Chris Vaughn is an American songwriter, recording artist, filmmaker/producer/director from Neptune, New Jersey. He is best known for his original song "Fallen Angel", was featured in the film Stiletto; and as a filmmaker for his documentary film Jerseyboy Hero, which he wrote, produced, directed, scored and starred in himself. Vaughn was born and raised in New Jersey. He went to high school at Shore Regional High School in West Long Branch, New Jersey and currently resides in Brick, New Jersey with his wife, Shannon and their two sons.[1][2][3][4][5][6]
Film
Chris Vaughn debut's as a film director, producer and star in his first film entitled, "Jerseyboy Hero". Jerseyboy Hero is a documentary film which features Chris Vaughn as an aspiring musician. which was inspired by New Jersey Native Musicians, Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi. It follows the filmmaker/songwriter as he records and promotes his own music in hopes of reaching either one of these two local legends from the Garden State. The film's first rough cut screening was premiered at the 2010 Garden State Film Festival, but the film was not screened in its final form until April 7, 2011 at Clearview Cinemas in Red Bank, New Jersey. The film is scored completely by Chris Vaughn and features all his own original music. Vaughn's finally does capture his Hometown Hero, Bruce Springsteen for the film finale.[7]
