Chris Mulkey (born May 3, 1948) is an American film and television actor.
He appeared in Captain Phillips,[1] Patti Rocks, Against the Wall, Cloverfield, the NBC TV movie Knight Rider, and 24. He appeared on Boardwalk Empire,[1][2] Friday Night Lights, Boomtown and Justified, and has acted since the mid-1970s, such as Baretta and Twin Peaks.[1][2] Mulkey played the main character in the controversial music video to Supertramp's 1985 song "Brother Where You Bound".[3]
He appeared in the Wing Commander franchise as Jacob "Hawk" Manley. He appeared in the science fiction action film The Hidden.[4] He has appeared in more recent films as The Purge, Slow Burn, Sanitarium and The Identical. In 2014, he had a cameo role in Whiplash.[2]
Personal life
Mulkey was born in Viroqua, Wisconsin, and is married to actress Karen Landry.
