Chris Kamolins

Christopher Charles "Chris" Kamolins (born 25 December 1977) is an Australian rules football field umpire in the Australian Football League. He has umpired 111 career games in the AFL.[1] [2]

Kamolins attended primary school at Greenhills Primary School in Greensborough, Melbourne, before completing his secondary education at St Helena Secondary College in Eltham North. Chris studied at a tertiary level at RMIT University, based at the Bundoora Campus, successfully achieving at a high level a Bachelor of Nursing degree.

Kamolins was originally based in Victoria, but has moved to Queensland and is now the only AFL Field Umpire based in that state (apart from Rookie Andrew Stephens) after Ben Ryan moved to Victoria at the start of the 2013 season. Kamolins enjoyed his most successful season in 2012, being named emergency in Week 1 of the Finals.
