Chris Barnard (executioner)

Chris Barnard (died between 1988 and 2008[1])[2] was a South African executioner during the Apartheid Era. He executed around 1,500 [3] people between 1962 and 1986.[4] Most of his executions were conducted on ordinary murderers.[5] He has been deceased for quite some time.[6]
