The chocolate-vented tyrant (Neoxolmis rufiventris) is a species of bird in the Tyrannidae family. It is placed in the monotypic genus Neoxolmis. The species was first scientifically described by Vieillot in 1823.
It is found in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Uruguay.
Its natural habitat is temperate grassland.
