Chloe Morgan is an independent singer/songwriter currently based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Her debut EP Piano Forté was released on August 21, 2012.

Career

Originally based in London, United Kingdom, Chloe Morgan, then Chloe Staines began her career in music with an appearance on hit British reality series Popstars: The Rivals. Following the show, Morgan along with three other contestants formed the all-girl group Clea. Clea received a recording contract with Warner offshoot 1967 Records releasing the debut album Identity Crisis in 2004 and touring extensively in Europe.[1] Later that year, Morgan left the group to pursue a solo career. She explained her decision stating, “When I stepped off stage, I should have felt excited to have performed in front of huge crowds. But I felt the opposite; I didn't feel fulfilled. It just wasn’t me. I had to walk away if I was going to be true to myself.”[2]

Morgan moved to Vancouver, Canada where she married burgeoning actor Chad Rook and began writing and recording new material.[3] On August 21, 2012 Morgan released her debut EP Piano Forte to lukewarm response. She has elected to release two singles so far, "All THat You Are" and "Stir Crazy". The EP was added into rotation at CBC Radio One.[4][5]

Morgan has begun work on her debut album slated for release in 2013 and intends to support the record with a cross Canada tour.[6]
