Chirand

Chirand is a small village in Saran district of Bihar. It is situated along the bank of the Saryu/Ghaghra River in Saran District of Bihar. Chirand is in Garkha Block.

Archaeology

Remains dating back to the stone age have been found in Chirand. This is the only place in the Ganga Plain where remains of the stone age were found.
