Francis Patrick "Chink" Crossin, Jr. (July 4, 1924 – January 10, 1981) was a professional basketball player for the Philadelphia Warriors. During his high school career at Luzerne High School, Crossin averaged 24 points per game, which was especially high for the time period. Crossin was offered scholarships by many schools, including Georgetown University and the University of North Carolina, but he elected to attend the University of Pennsylvania.[1] Crossin was drafted with the 6th pick in the inaugural 1947 BAA Draft by the Philadelphia Warriors. In three BAA seasons, Crossin averaged 4.7 points per game and 1.5 assists per game.[2]
