Chicano Batman is a four-piece Chicano/Latino[2] band based in Los Angeles.[3][4][5][6]

Biography

Chicano Batman was formed in 2008.[1]

NPR's Alt.Latino referred to Chicano Batman's music as one of Alt.Latino's and listener's favorites of 2014.[4][5] In 2015 Alt.Latino continues to watch the band and see how things go.[6][7]

Chicano Batman provided support for select dates on the January–February leg of Jack White's Lazaretto Tour 2015.[1][6][7]

In spring of 2015, Chicano Batman will be performing on Day 3 of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.[1][6][7]

Influences

Drawing from a broad range of 60s and early 70s Brazilian bossa nova and samba, spacey psychedelia, slow-jam soul with a pinch of surf-rock cumbia.
