Chevrolet is an unincorporated community in Harlan County, Kentucky, United States. Their post office [3] is closed.
A post office was established in 1918 under the name Bee Gee. It was renamed that same year for a model Chevrolet Series 490 driven by a mining employee, accountant Frank Clinton Eaton of Clover St, Harlan. The automobile was said to have been the first automobile driven over the local road.[4]
