Cheryl Chow

Cheryl Mayre Chow (May 24, 1946 March 29, 2013) was an American educator and politician.

Born in 1946 in Seattle, Washington, to restaurant owners Ping and Ruby Chow (later a King County councilwoman), Cheryl Chow graduated from Franklin High School and then attended Western Washington University. She was a teacher and principal in the Seattle school system and also coached girls' basketball for the city parks and recreation department. From 199097, she served on the Seattle City Council.[1]

Death

Cheryl Chow died of central nervous system lymphoma, aged 66, and was survived by her partner, Sarah Morningstar, and several brothers and half-brothers.[2] [3]
