The Cheravirus refers to a genus of a plant virus in the family Secoviridae and order Picornavirales. Virus consists of a non-enveloped capsid with isometric, icosahedral symmetry. The viral gene is two segments of positive sense, single stranded RNA of about 10,000 nucleotides in length.[1]

The name is derived from Cherry rasp leaf virus, the type member.
