Chen Mingyi (Taiwan)

Chen Mingyi (Chinese: 陳明義) is a former city councillor for New Taipei, Taiwan. He is also a member of Kuomintang’s Central Standing Committee.[1] It was reported that he would participate in the 2014 New Taipei City mayoral election.[2] However, Kuomintang eventually chose Eric Chu (Chinese: 朱立倫) as their candidate for mayor of New Taipei.

In the Taiwan local elections, 2014, Chen failed to get re-elected.[3][4]
