Checkin' Out the Ghosts
Checkin' Out the Ghosts is a studio album by Kim Carnes, released in Japan only (1991) (see 1991 in music).
Two years later, in 1993, the song "Gypsy Honeymoon" would be re-recorded and released as a single in Europe only. The track would be included on and become the title of an internationally released hits compilation, Gypsy Honeymoon: The Best of Kim Carnes.
The album also contains a re-recording of the track "Hangin' On by a Thread (A Sad Affair of the Heart)", which was originally recorded on Carnes' album Café Racers. "Independent Girl" was released as a 3" CD single (in Japan only) with a further song "Mutual Attraction" as the 'b' side on TEDP-18.[1]
