Chawa is a very old village in Bhalwal Tehsil near the town of Bhera, Sargodha District, Pakistan. It is located at 30°59'0N 72°54'0E with an altitude of 153 metres (502 ft).[1]

The Bhalwana and Sipra are the main families of this village.. Sipra family has a great name in the history of Chawa in politics. The sons of Muhammad Khan Sipra are Munawar Hussain Sipra, M Hussain Sipra.

The first district Nazim of Sargodha Malik Amjad Ali Noon was from a village named Ali Pur Noon.
