Chatra Nandalal Institution (Bengali: চাতরা নন্দলাল ইন্সটিটিউশন ), Serampore was established in 1874 in Hooghly District in West Bengal, India. It is situated on the bank of the Hooghly River and having a river side view of the cantonment town of Barrackpore.

Academic affiliation

The school is affiliated to the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education(index T1-015 [1]), which holds the Madhyamik exams after grade (class) 10 and West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education(institution code 17051[2]), which holds the Uchcha Madhyamik exams after grade (class) 12.

Curriculum

Students choose Madhyamik curriculum until grade (class) 10 and Uchcha Madhyamik curriculum from grade (class) 11 to grade (class) 12. However, they may choose to study either Science (Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology/Statistics), Commerce (Commerce, Accounts, Economics and Maths)or [arts] (history,geography,snskrit,economics).
