Chatham Central High School is a public high school located in Bear Creek, North Carolina with a student population of around 450 students. It is part of Chatham County Schools.
It offers a great agriculture department and usually goes to the FFA national convention but some years doesn't. It offers a great music department. The school on average has higher test scores than schools in the district, county, and state.
In May 2010, three Chatham Central students were selected, by their teacher, to be in a News 14 segment. It featured: Jamie Spruiell, jr; Hayliegh Polston; and Brandy Hinrichs, as they talked about the laptop program at the school.[3]
