Charlyn Corral, born 11 September 1991, is a Mexican football player. She plays currently for Merilappi United in the Finnish women's premier division Naisten Liiga. Corral was signed by Merilappi in June 2014.[1] She has previously played for Louisville Cardinals in the American Athletic Conference.[2]
National team
Corral mede her debut for the Mexico U-21 team in 2006 at the age of 14. She was a member of the Mexico squad at the 2006, 2008 and 2010 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup. In 2006 she was also the top scorer of CONCACAF Women's U-20 Championship. Corral played her first international for the Mexico women's national football team at the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup in the group stage match against New Zealand.[2]
Family
Charlyn Corral is the sister of George Corral who currently plays for Querétaro FC.[3]
