Charles Michael Jarrell (May 15, 1940) is an American prelate of the Roman Catholic Church who serves as the sixth and current bishop of the Diocese of Lafayette, Louisiana.[1]
Biography
Before entering seminary, Jarrell attended The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. where he received both a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Philosophy.
Jarrell was appointed as the second bishop of Diocese of Houma–Thibodaux, Louisiana and served from 1992 to 2002.
On November 8, 2002 Bishop Jarrell was appointed to serve as bishop for the Diocese of Lafayette.
