Chandigarh University is a private university in Mohali, India.
History
Chandigarh University is an Indian institute for higher education established under ‘The Chandigarh University Act’ and is recognized by UGC. Located in Greater Mohali, Punjab, CU is the largest university in the vicinity of Chandigarh with more than 15,000 students from all across India and 6 countries around the world.
CU is a residential university with separate hostels for boys and girls housing more than 15,000 students. The university is broadly organized into seven institutes, providing education through more than 50 programs including doctorates, post graduate and graduate programs in a variety of disciplines taught by more than 1000 tenured faculty members.

Joint Placement Programme (Jpp) was started by Chandigarh University this year. Since its launch, Joint Placement Programme (JPP) of Chandigarh University (CU) and CGC has provided job placement opportunities to more than 54,000 students of North India with more than 1000 Multi-Nationals recruited students so far under the program.
