Chamsonyeo (Hangul: 참소녀) is a four-member South Korean girl group formed by the TV program Hitmaker in 2015. It's an idol sub-unit formed by the members 4Minute's Sohyun, After School's Lizzy, Kara's Youngji and the soloist G.NA.

Pre-debut

After producing the male group Big Byung on the first season of Hitmaker, Jung Hyungdon and Defconn announced that on the second season they wanted to make a girl group.[1] The second season started airing on December 12, 2014. [2] Through the episodes of the second season, the group chose Sohyun as the leader of the group and stage names that were G.NA as Bagha, Lizzy as Gyepi, Sohyun as Yeot and Youngji as Kkali.

The group first appeared in the 5th episode of Season 2, in which they met each other and signed the contract with the producers Brave Duble Tiger (a mix between Brave Brothers, Duble Sidekick and Shinsadong Tiger).

2015: Debut with Magic Words

The group debuted with the single "Magic Words" February 20 which was composed by Defconn and Hyundon.[3] They held their debut stage the 4th of March in Show Champion.[4]
