Chaim Deutsch is a Democratic City Council member in New York City. He was elected to the 48th Council District, in Brooklyn, New York on November 5, 2013, Deutsch defeating Republican David Storobin. The 48th District includes Brighton Beach, Manhattan Beach, Sheepshead Bay, Homecrest and Midwood. He succeeded Democrat Mike Nelson on the city council.[1]
