Chagallu is a village and a mandal in West Godavari district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India.[1] A sub post office located at Chagallu.

- By Train: Nearest railway junction: Nidadavole 8 km. Chagallu has a train station for Passenger level train halts only
- By Air:- Nearest Airport: Rajahmundry Airport 40 km.
Industries
This town has two big industries:
one is VVS Sugars Ltd[2] (The Jeypore Sugars Ltd), and another one is the Distillery Division of the Jeypore Sugars Ltd.
M/s. Krishna Industrial Corporation Ltd started construction of a CO2 Plant here.
Old Age home
It will be a house of dignity for elderly.[3]
The concept of old age home is to provide accommodation, food and medical aid along with recreation on the following categories
1. Entirely Free
2. Subsidized
3. paying.
Keeping this as our main Motto the trust was registered on 26-12-2008 at SRO Kovvuru, West Godavari District. The land donor and most of the construction was sponsored by Alla Janaki Rama Rao. He also sponsored to built the Library and number of temples.
