Chaetocarpus ferrugineus is a plant of the family Euphorbiaceae which is endemic to Sri Lanka.
Leaves
lanceolate, acute base, acuminate apex, veins prominent beneath; flush reddish pink.
Trunk
Bark - dark brown; young parts rusty hairy.

clustered, sometimes on short peduncles.

depressed, strongly 3-lobed, rusty tomentose capsule.
