Chad Weininger (February 2, 1972) is a Wisconsin administrator, politician and Republican legislator from Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Born in Green Bay, Weininger attended Ashwaubenon High School. He was a Green Bay Area Soap Box Derby Champion in 1983 (Junior) and 1985 (Senior).[1] He graduated with a B.B.A. from St. Norbert College, in political science and business administration, and went on to obtain an M.B.A. from Cardinal Stritch University.

Public office

He was a former city clerk of Green Bay when he was elected to the 4th Wisconsin State Assembly district in 2010,[2] with 12,476 votes to 8,361 for Democrat Sam Dunlop. Re-elected in 2012, he chose not to run for re-election in 2014, instead accepting a post as director of administration for Brown County, Wisconsin.[3]

The successor to his seat will be chosen in the 2014 general election, in which Republican nominee David Steffen will be opposed by Democrat Chris Plaunt.
