Chab Dai

Chab Dai (joining hands in Khmer) was founded in Cambodia in 2005[1] by Helen Sworn.[2] Chab Dai is a coalition of Christian Organizations committed to ending sexual abuse and trafficking.[3][4] Chab Dai aims to bring an end to trafficking and sexual exploitation through coalition building, community prevention, advocacy and research.[5][6] While the organization was founded in Cambodia, Chab Dai also has additional offices in the United States,[7] Canada and the United Kingdom.[8]

Governance

Chab Dai is registered as an International NGO with the Cambodian Government. Their partner organizations elect members to be a part of the Steering Committee of Chab Dai, which works to provide support and accountability to the Team. Chab Dai is also overseen by a registered charity in the UK, Yejj Charitable Trust (registered number 1103241). [9] [10] [11]

Projects Of Chab Dai

Providing help, support and resources to individuals, organisations and churches;
Developing and distributing innovative resources to assist with programs working in the areas of prevention through to reintegration;
Setting up and operating a resource centre and library
Working with communities, organisations and government ministries to identify strategies to address the issues of sexual abuse and trafficking;
Developing training programs to build the capacity of staff working with victims;
Facilitating advice clinics to for organisations discuss and address issues relating to their work;
Carrying out specific research studies which make recommendations at both program and advocacy levels; and
Being committed to praying together for one another and the issues we are facing.
