Ch'uspiqucha (Quechua ch'uspi insect, generic name of flies or two-winged insects / fly, qucha lake, lagoon,[2] "fly lake" or "insect lake", hispanicized names Chuspi, Chuspiccocha, Chuspicocha) is a lake in Peru located in the Huánuco Region, Lauricocha Province, Cauri District. It lies in the north of the Rawra mountain range, between the lakes Pataqucha in the north-west and T'inkiqucha in the south-east. Ch'uspiqucha is situated at a height of 4,150 metres (13,615 ft) at the foot of the mountain Chira (4,777 metres (15,673 ft)). The glacier above it is named Ch'uspiqucha (Chuspiccocha) after the lake.[3]
