Ch'ankhani (Aymara ch'ankha wool cord,[2] -ni a suffix to indicate ownership, "the one with a cord", hispanicized spelling Chancane), also known as Phaq'u Qullu ("light brown mountain", Pacocollo), is a mountain in the Andes of southern Peru, about 5,000 metres (16,404 ft) high. It is situated in the Moquegua Region, Mariscal Nieto Province, Carumas District, and in the Tacna Region, Candarave Province, Candarave District. Ch'ankhani lies west of lake Aqhuyach'alla (Ajuachaya, Pasto Grande) and the mountain Wila Wilani.[1][3][4]
